At Kariamu INC, we are dedicated to providing essential services to individuals and families who have been impacted by economic hardships and displacement. Our primary focus is on offering a range of services, such as childcare, homesteads, farmers markets, and opportunities to create businesses. We also have plans to develop a drive-in movie theater that will serve as a safe space for families living in their vehicles.

I started The Village Child Care in Los Angeles, California, over 20 years ago and moved to New Mexico three years ago. My primary goal has always been to support parents who need to leave their children for work or school. I wanted to create a space where children could feel the love and care of a mother while their own parents were away. Having experienced the heartbreak of leaving my child behind, I understand the crucial need for parents to trust an outsider with their child’s care. This drove my passion to provide a nurturing environment that gives both parents and children peace of mind.
